ProPhorce® Our ProPhorce® feed additives are developed to make a difference in bacterial growth inhibition and acidification are grouped into four areas:
ProPhorce® AC
ProPhorce® acidifiers have been developed on the basis of short chain fatty acids. They are used to reduce the buffer capacity of the ingesta in the stomach of pigs and poultry. The reduction of feed and stomach pH is associated with:
- Improved digestibility of nutrients
- Growth inhibition of harmful bacteria
- Stimulation of endogenous enzyme production
- Reduction of ingesta buffering capacity
Particularly in piglets the acid production in the stomach is not sufficient to lower the pH too a level that inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Our ProPhorce® product range will provide you with the right solutions to lower stomach pH and to improve animal performance.
ProPhorce® BD & ProPhorce® PH
The unique combination of short chain fatty acids and especially selected essential oils, have shown, in scientific research, to enhance antibacterial properties. The synergy between the organic acids and the essential oils will have the following benefits:
- Increased antibacterial effect
- Very effective at higher pH values of 6-7 (crop and duodenum)
As the products in the ProPhorce® BD & ProPhorce® PH range have very strong antibacterial properties they are extremely suitable in the fight of harmful bacteria such as Clostridium, Campylobacter and E.Coli, thereby raising the standards of hygiene and animal performance.
ProPhorce® SA
This product range is especially developed to fight Salmonella in both feed and animal. The products are aiming at the following:
- Rapid reduction of Salmonella bacteria
- Prevention of recontamination with Salmonella
